As an avid book lover I enjoy reading ABOUT books almost as much as I love reading them. That's why I was fascinated by this recent post at abebooks.com where they list the "Top Ten Forgotten Pulitzer-Prize Winning Novels" as proof that winning that coveted prize is no guarantee of lasting fame. I recognized the title of only one of these (Advise and Consent), not because I'd read the book, but because I'd seen the movie as a kid. Anyone ever heard of these? Or read any of them?

I recognise most of them - but I am trying to read the complete Pulitzer list, so I'm cheating a bit!
I haven't read any of these ones yet, but I have Lamb in his Bosom here, and should read it in the next month or two.
