July "Book Report"

July was a good month for meaty reading. I thoroughly enjoyed my first foray into the writings of Thomas Hardy and was surprised at some of the deep thoughts in my "light" book for the month, The American Flaggs.

An Experiment in Criticism by C.S. Lewis - Review forthcoming.
Deep Wounds, Deep Healing by Charles Kraft - Although I appreciated some of the insights in this book (especially on the necessity of forgiveness) I continue to be very skeptical of memory retrieval counseling.
