March Book Report

When I look back at the month I'm amazed at how much I read. I must be getting over my winter lethargy. I also blame it on Agatha McGee who is the heroine of two of the books. I loved reading about her.

A Rose for Mrs. Minniver - the life of actress Greer Garson
Battle of the Books - essay by Jonathon Swift
House of the Deer - by D.E. Stevenson
The Green Journey - by Jon Hassler
Another Sort of Learning - by James V. Schall
Earth Abides - science fiction
Dear James - sequel to Green Journey
Penny Wise and Book-Foolish - an old volume on book collecting
Hearts West - True Stories of Mail-Order Brides on the Frontier

The Green Journey just arrived. I'm in the middle of two other books, but I'm sorely tempted on this snowy April morning to brew a cup of tea, pick it up and discard the plans I had for the day!
