I don't remember if it was this hard, BUT all my favorite quotes from The Truest Fairy Tale were from Orthodoxy so I'm sure it's good.hopeinbrazilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05842290165385823751noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4012744915676074134.post-9653160648598100412018-12-16T04:37:54.679-08:002018-12-16T04:37:54.679-08:00I love your honest assessment of Chesterton as &qu...I love your honest assessment of Chesterton as "plain hard work." I found that to be true of my read through Orthodoxy this year, but in a year in which my "One Word" was Orthodoxy, it seems fitting to read your review of one of Chesterton's works as the year comes to a close!Michele Morinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03814119096056835884noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4012744915676074134.post-79027437419424170732018-12-15T18:11:12.620-08:002018-12-15T18:11:12.620-08:00Mmmm, I've had this one & Orthodoxy sittin...Mmmm, I've had this one & Orthodoxy sitting on the shelf for some time. Have you read Orthodoxy & if so, is it less work to read it??<br />Thanks for the background information. I recently finished 'Surprised by Joy' and Lewis mentions The Everlasting Man being influential in his thinking.Carolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06820925595506920754noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4012744915676074134.post-11768957019208011762018-12-15T13:45:58.158-08:002018-12-15T13:45:58.158-08:00I've only read one book by Chesterton, but it ...I've only read one book by Chesterton, but it was fiction (The Man Who Was Thursday - but even that was fairly philosophical). I've enjoyed many quotes from him and would like to read more of his books. Sounds like this one might be good a little later on, after reading some of his others.Barbara H.http://barbarah.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.com
