I got halfway through two audiobooks (Things of Earth - non-fiction by Joe Rigney and The Blue Fairy Book by Andrew Lang), but I'm not really enjoying either of them so it's been a slog.
I'm glad I did the free trial for Kindle Unlimited because now I know IT'S NOT WORTH $10 a month. Yes, I was able to read half a dozen titles on my TBR list, but almost all the other available titles are fluff. Amazon is not dumb. They are going to make you pay for anything that's worth reading.

I don't think I would have enjoyed Things of Earth on an audio book either, although I really enjoyed it in print. And I have noticed the same thing about Kindle Unlimited. In fact, most of the stuff that my Kindle "pushes" sounds like fluff to me.
I've been wanting to read some Katherine Patterson, so I'm heading over to read that review.

That's a lot of reading in one month. I rush through books I borrow from the library so I tend not to do that too often. I enjoy them so much more if I own them & can read at my own pace. I read aloud from a kindle sometimes but I've never got comfortable reading for my self. Maybe if I was on a plane or couldn't take books with me I'd get used to it soon enough.
